About these terms

These terms apply to quotes and orders for personalised caricature artwork, digital artwork and printed products supplied by Dawn Hauxwell, trading as SuperStars Caricatures, of 28 Hopwood Close, Newbury, RG14 2PG. Please read them before placing an order. Nothing in these terms limits the statutory rights of a consumer.

Who can order

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract to place an order. If an order contains a child's name, photograph or other personal information, you confirm that you are their parent or legal guardian, or have the permission of their parent or legal guardian.

Products and artistic interpretation

Personalised artwork is an artistic interpretation created from the photograph and instructions supplied. It will not be an exact photographic reproduction. Colours can vary between screens and printed products. Product photographs and mock-ups are illustrative; reasonable differences in placement, scale and colour may occur.

Product dimensions, materials, care instructions and important safety information will be provided on the relevant product listing or with the product.

Quotes and orders

Submitting a form or asking for a quote does not create a contract. We will confirm the design brief, price, delivery information and any additional charge before accepting the order. A contract is formed only when we send an order confirmation and accept payment, unless the confirmation says otherwise.

You must check names, spelling, dates, sizes, colours, addresses and other details before approving the order or artwork proof. We will correct an error made by us, but changes requested after approval may involve an additional charge.

Photographs and customer content

You confirm that you own uploaded material or have permission from the copyright owner, and that you have permission from every identifiable person shown. You grant us a limited licence to copy, crop, edit and transform that material only as needed to quote for, create and fulfil the order and provide related support.

You must not submit unlawful, abusive, discriminatory or infringing material. We may refuse or cancel an order where content may infringe rights, create a safeguarding concern or expose the business or another person to legal risk.

Artwork approval

Where a proof is provided, production will not begin until it is approved. The proof must be checked carefully. The number of included revisions and any charge for additional revisions will be confirmed with the quote. Approval does not remove your rights where the final product is faulty, not as described or differs materially from the approved proof because of our error.

Prices and payment

Prices and any delivery charge will be confirmed before payment. Prices include applicable taxes unless clearly stated otherwise. Optional extras will never be added without express agreement. Payment must be made through an approved method shown in the quote or checkout. Never send full card details by email, message or the photo-upload form.

Digital artwork

Unless agreed otherwise, buying personalised artwork gives you a personal, non-exclusive right to use the supplied file for private purposes and to print personal copies. It does not transfer the underlying copyright, permit resale, commercial reproduction, removal of third-party rights or use in a misleading or unlawful way.

If digital content is supplied immediately, any legally required express request and acknowledgement concerning the right to cancel will be obtained before the download is made available.

Delivery

Initial artwork proofs normally take 3–5 working days, requested changes 1–2 working days, printing and production 3–5 working days after approval, and standard UK delivery 2–4 working days after dispatch. Please allow approximately 8–14 working days from a complete order to delivery, depending on approval time. Dates are estimates unless expressly agreed as guaranteed. Changes, cancellation and returns

Most products are made to the customer's specification and the statutory change-of-mind cancellation right may not apply once personalised work has begun. This does not affect rights where goods are faulty, not as described or incorrectly supplied. Read our Returns, Refunds and Cancellation Policy.

Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delay caused by an event outside our reasonable control, but we will contact you, take reasonable steps to reduce the effect and explain available options. Your legal rights remain unaffected.

Liability

We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or breach of statutory consumer rights. We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable or for business losses arising from a consumer order.

Law and complaints
